The internet is now the preferred method of finding information, products and services. However, we have found that it is not easy for the South African consumer looking for medical information to find it and that there was only scattered bits of information with no central portal.

Everyday thousands of ordinary South Africans with health problems are seeing doctors, clinics and hospitals. Some just need the information to contact a doctor, health facility or healthcare service provider. Some individuals are seemingly healthy until a problem strikes and they need to contact someone. Some individuals have moved into a new neighbourhood or are visitors to South Africa looking for a doctor or facility nearby, and there are others looking for the supply of medical equipment or a pharmacy.

Because of a personal need for healthcare information and having personally experienced the difficulty of finding various contact details for doctors and other related medical services we created WhichDoctor™.

With the introduction of WhichDoctor™, South Africans and visitors to South Africa now have a one stop online resource where one will be able to find information and links to the many health related services in South Africa.

WhichDoctor™ is now in its Beta phase and in order for this to be successful and grow please pass this information on to your health care professional as well as all your family and friends. Be sure to mention It costs nothing for your healthcare professional to “get listed” and it costs you the user nothing to access this site.
